
AGGUSA was organized in 2017 by a group of individuals interested in seeing the sport develop in the United States. Formally incorporated as a nonprofit public benefit corporation in California in 2018, AGGUSA sought and received federal tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) in 2019 and registered with the state of California as a public charity. Our founder funded the entity until early 2022, at which point, Elena Baltovick became President and began the process of creating a membership structure and providing services to clubs and teams interested in joining the sport, as well as expanding the Board of Directors (“Board”).

Today our Board is comprised of 10 volunteers passionate about the sport and its advancement in the United States. Our Board meets regularly in support of AGGUSA’s membership, such as planning the competitive season, discussing the expansion of the sport, etc. Our Board is in the process of updating the by-laws, policies, and procedures to address the needs of AGGUSA’s membership.
